Wild Root Market Corporate Partners

Wild Root Market envisions a community where cooperation is unleashed for the greater good. To achieve this, we have designed a corporate partnership program which empowers and leverages the amazing assets unique to our community.

Bukacek Construction — the folks at Bukacek have been invaluable in helping us to assess the construction costs of the sites we have under consideration. They also offer an incentive to their employees to become Member-Owners!

First Presbyterian Church — Pastor Ben Johnston-Krase has graciously offered their beautiful, spacious facilities for our Annual Owners Meeting for two years running and has made it available for other meetings as well. Pastor Ben also spearheaded an inaugural Harvest Sunday event in 2012 which took place the Sunday before Thanksgiving amongst congregations in the Downtown Cooperative Parish assembly. Harvest Sunday offers the opportunity for worshipping communities to collectively devote their service on that day to matters of sustainability, ecology, environmentalism, food security and fair trade, etc. Wild Root Market includes on its website space for local religious leaders to share their resources related to this event.

Just Add Kids  — partnering with us and Eat Right Racine, we were invited to join their family-focused Expo on April 6, 2013 at Case High School to promote Wild Root Market’s Square Meal Kids Club.

Milaeger’s — our friends at Milaeger’s have been amazing partners helping introduce us to their customers by inviting us to set up information tables at many of their own events. Additionally, you may purchase your Ownership subscription and Wild Root Market tote bags at either of their locations.

Racine Journal Times — our local newspaper has historically followed and reported on our progress which has brought attention to the project. They also agreed to publish a profile of the winners of our Kid’s Club Square Meal Challenge.

RelyLocal Racine — they understand that supporting local businesses is great for our local economy so they partner and promote them to the community. RelyLocal has been a stalwart supporter of Wild Root Market from the beginning, offering us booth space at their Expo, participating in our events and helping spread the word in numerous other ways.

results. Productivity Coaching — results. stepped in at a critical juncture for the Wild Root Market Board and helped develop a more suitable internal structure and communications system as well as define interdependencies for improved efficiency and capacity. They also sponsored meeting space for the Board’s monthly meetings.

Westwords Consulting LLC — not only did they do a fabulous job “remodeling” our website and making it possible for Member-Owners to subscribe and pay online, they’re always ready and willing to offer technical assistance when needed.
